Every year, the Church pauses to celebrate Holy Cross Day (historically known as the Exaltation of the Holy Cross).
Rather than focusing solely on the sorrow of Good Friday, Holy Cross Day celebrates the cross as an instrument of ultimate victory, healing, and redemption. It is a day to give thanks for Christ’s self-giving love, which transformed an ancient symbol of shame into a source of hope and eternal life.
"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." — Galatians 6:14
Join us as we remember the foundation of our faith and reflect on the love that draws all people to Himself.
