Sung Mass: The Last Sunday after the Epiphany

The season of Epiphany concludes with a moment of breathtaking clarity. This Sunday, we journey from the "light of the world" revealed to the Magi to the blinding glory of the Transfiguration.

On this final Sunday before we enter the penitential season of Lent, we witness Jesus on the mountaintop, his appearance transformed and his divinity unveiled. It is a spiritual "mountain peak" intended to sustain us through the valley of the shadow that begins on Ash Wednesday.
